Hey everyone, I am excited to let you know that the videos that I recorded with Music Group are live on the Behringer YouTube channel now! Here is a list of the videos, but I will also have them embedded at the bottom of this post!
– Using the Turbosound iQ12 speakers with the X32 using Ultranet (Part I / Part II)
– Using the Behringer P16-M via Ultranet Complete Walkthrough (Part I / Part II / Part III)
– Using the Behringer SD8 & SD16 digital snakes with the X32 (Part I / Part II)
Using the Turbosound iQ12 speakers with the X32 using Ultranet
I was so excited to see that Music Group had some of the Turbosound iQ series speakers in their studio. The first thing I wanted to do was to plug them in and listen to them! So we decided to make a video on integrating the iQ12 with the X32 using Ultranet. Ultranet is the same thing that we use for the P16-M for monitoring of up to 16 channels of audio and being able to mix a custom mix. We can dedicate as many of those 16 channels of audio for use with sending our FOH audio as well!
The thing that I love the most about this is it is a digital delivery which negates the possibility of an audio ground loop hum.
Using the Behringer P16-M via Ultranet Complete Walkthrough
I love using the Behringer P16-M personal monitors in the church. It is such a valuable tool letting your musicians make themselves a personal mix on the fly during the show or service. A huge benefit of giving your musicians the control over their monitor mix is that you clear up MixBusses on your board for use for subgroups or custom sends for other uses.
I really wanted to make a video explaining the use of the P16-M and how to get the right sound out of it.
Using the Behringer SD8 & SD16 digital snakes with the X32
One of Behringer’s newest releases is the SD8 and SD16. These are 8 channel and 16 channel snakes that can be linked together with CAT5e cables and uses the AES50 for connectivity to the board. I was really looking forward to making a video of connecting these with the X32 and using them!
